Job summary

Resurgens Orthopaedics in Texas is seeking a patient access representative for a part-time schedule (3 days per week). You will train in all areas including check-in/out, chart auditing, and call center functions while delivering excellent patient service.

You will support HIPAA compliance, participate in office meetings, and relay information to staff. A High School Diploma or GED with 1–3 months of related training and 1–2 years of healthcare front desk experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of healthcare front desk experience preferred.
• Travel to all TSC locations is required.

Responsibilities

• Train in all areas: Check in/out, Chart Auditing, Call Center functions.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients by listening and serving them.
• Relate information to internal staff and ensure smooth appointment entry, check-in, and check-out processes.
• Participate in office meetings and educational activities.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area and comply with HIPAA procedures.

Part-Time- 3 days a week

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties of the position include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Key Functions:

• Has to train in all areas: Check in/out, Chart Auditing, Call Center functions.
• Provides excellent customer service to patients by listening and appropriately serving patients.
• Contributes to an overall positive work atmosphere through actions and attitude.
• Relays relevant information to the appropriate internal staff.
• Follows practice procedures for appointment entry, check-in and/or check-out processes.
• Participates in office meetings and educational activities.
• Maintains work area in neat and orderly manner.
• Complies with HIPAA procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience: High School Diploma, or general education degree (GED), or one to three months relates experience, and/or training or equivalent combination or education and experience. Must have 1-2 years of healthcare front desk experience.
