Job summary

TriHealth Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Access Associate to support Labor & Delivery, Admitting, and Emergency Department registration. Qualifications

• 1-2 years customer service experience required.
• Ability to operate multiple computer applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Medical terminology within first year of employment if not already taken.

Responsibilities

• Adapt to a dynamic workflow, handling appropriate volume of calls/registrations per hour and other departmental targets.
• Maintain accuracy in data and patient information.
• Follow regulatory and departmental policies for data collection, patient safety and point-of-service collections.
• Follow scripting, anticipate customer needs, and maintain positive interactions with patients and co-workers.
