TriHealth is seeking an Access Associate at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati to support Labor & Delivery, Admitting, and Emergency Department registration. You will manage admissions, assist with CMS compliance, and coordinate schedule workflows while delivering excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Customer Service experience is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Typing speed of 35 wpm is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Medical terminology knowledge or willingness to learn within the first year.

Responsibilities

• Schedule or register patients, coordinating with departments to ensure timely care.
• Provide customer service, answer questions, and resolve issues.
• Collect copays, deposits and deductibles; educate and direct patients on insurance.
• Schedule tests per guidelines and ensure medical necessity for reimbursement.
• Explain required paperwork and assist with financial triage.
