Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a part-time Patient Access/Registration specialist to support the Revenue Cycle process. You will collect demographic and financial information, enter data accurately in the EMR, and provide excellent patient service in a fast-paced environment.

The role supports multiple access points, uses CPT knowledge for coding references, and requires strong communication and teamwork in a hospital setting. Evening shifts with 16 scheduled hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• One to two years' experience in a medical office setting.
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Identifies patient in EMR system and registers patient information.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and schedules/handles registrations across locations.
• Provides exceptional customer service and explains billing procedures to patients.
