Henry Ford Health is seeking a part-time Patient Registration Rep in Detroit, MI, 24 hours per week, with midnight shifts. The role focuses on welcoming patients, performing registration duties, verifying insurance, and delivering exceptional customer service across in-person, phone, and electronic communications.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, strong computer skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to meet or exceed core customer service responsibilities, standards, and behaviors.

Responsabilités

• Follow standard operating procedures for patient registration, including face-to-face check-in, preregistration, and insurance eligibility confirmation.
• Perform new patient registration and update existing patient and insurance information.
• Respond to inquiries from callers and customers, advocating on their behalf to meet their needs.
• Act as a welcoming front door, instilling loyalty and anticipating patient and visitor needs.
• Provide efficient and effective customer relationship management over the telephone, in person, and in writing.
• Instruct others on registration processes and procedures as needed.
