You will coordinate pre-admission and scheduling, explain financial policies, and arrange payment plans. This role requires accuracy, empathy, and HIPAA compliance in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Competenze

• Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare, or institutional setting.
• High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred.
• Strong data entry and computer skills; familiarity with patient registration systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; attention to detail and problem solving.

Mansioni

• Interview patients to obtain complete demographic, financial and insurance information.
• Enter patient information into the registration system.
• Verify insurance benefits and coverage; obtain signatures and pre-certifications.
• Coordinate pre-admission and scheduling; assist with financial arrangements and self-pay balances.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors.
• Maintain confidentiality per policies and HIPAA regulations.
