Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and families to address questions with courtesy and timeliness.
• Manage schedules based on procedure requirements, physician availability, and staffing needs.
• Pre-register patients by obtaining accurate demographic information.
• Verify insurance eligibility using designated applications and secure necessary authorizations.
• Record patient financial responsibility estimates as applicable.
• Communicate operative reports daily to appropriate physician offices.
• Maintain patient charts and organize documentation for complete medical records.
• Prepare charts for upcoming procedures and nursing documentation.
