Job summary

Valley Health System in Luckow Pavilion is seeking a patient access professional for the Outpatient Care Center. You will register and preregister patients, schedule appointments, admit when needed, and manage databases to ensure timely access to services.

You will verify authorizations, medical necessity and consents, coordinate referrals to Financial Advocates, and collaborate with clinicians to address patient needs while maintaining accurate records and courteous service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of formal business/medical training preferred.
• Completion of BA training program required.

Responsibilities

• Register and preregister patients and schedule appointments.
• Admit patients and manage pertinent databases and records.
• Verify authorizations, medical necessity, and consents.
• Coordinate referrals to Patient Financial Advocates and support teams.
