Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State criminal background check and Federal (if applicable), as required for regulated areas.
• One year of patient registration experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitors registration activities in assigned area to ensure completion of registration and collection duties.
• Obtains demographic/billing/insurance information and prepares patient documents.
• Collects deposits, co-pays, deductibles, and patient liabilities; prepares patient armbands.
• Assists in training staff on role changes and procedures.
• Coordinates down time procedures and priority daily tasks for productivity.
• Handles daily template adjustments due to unexpected call offs or clinic situations.
