Qualifications

• Familiarity with HIPAA and patient privacy rules.
• Experience in medical front desk or registration is helpful.

Responsabilités

• Create the initial electronic health record foundation for patient care.
• Register patients and verify demographics, guarantor, and insurance information.
• Collect co-pays and explain financial responsibilities to patients.
• Explain insurance coverage basics and refer to Financial Advocates as needed.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality in all tasks.
• Provide customer service and guidance to patients and visitors.
