Job summary

FoundCare, Inc. is seeking a Patient Access Representative to greet patients, complete registration, verify demographics, and collect insurance and payment information at the front desk in our New York location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of office/clerical experience.
• Capable of high-volume data entry.
• Experience in medical records and electronic billing systems.
• Health Insurance experience preferred.
• Visa sponsorship not offered.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with registration, collect and verify information.
• Process payments, insurance data, and co-pays.
• Handle prescription refills and route to providers.
• Guide patients to clinical triaging after registration.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and FoundCare policy.
• Support front desk by answering phones and scheduling.
• Travel to other FoundCare locations as needed.
• Address workflow issues with supervisor/Medical Director.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
