Job summary

Rochester Regional Health is seeking an Access Associate at the Vascular department. You will greet patients, handle check-in/out, and process payments, serving as the first point of contact for patients and families at Rochester General Hospital's Parnall Office in Rochester, NY.

The role requires strong customer service, basic computer skills, and the ability to verify insurance and schedule appointments. The position is full-time with 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred
• Intermediate computer skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Manage incoming calls while providing necessary information; greeting patients, directing them as needed, and scheduling appointments
• Registration & Verification: Complete the registration process for patients as defined by policy; verify insurance eligibility/coverage and obtain precertification/authorization when applicable
• Billing & Payments: Collect and process payments when applicable
