AppleOne Employment Services is seeking a Clinic Registration Officer in San Juan, PR for a contract/temporary opportunity. You will support patient navigation, appointments, records, and eligibility within a busy healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Office Systems, Data Entry, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or 60–64 completed college credits.
• Six months to one year of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare services or health insurance.
• Strong administrative, data entry, filing, documentation, and record maintenance skills.
• Professional phone and email communication skills with the ability to assist patients clearly and courteously.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage follow-up tasks accurately.
• Ability to work effectively in a patient-centered clinical environment and follow established department protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate information about special programs, clinic services, and integrated medical services for patients and the general public.
• Schedule, confirm, cancel, reschedule, and follow up on patient appointments, including visits with subspecialists when needed.
• Create, update, organize, and maintain complete patient records, activity logs, reports, metrics, and program documentation.
• Process benefits eligibility and service preauthorization with insurance companies or employers when applicable.
• Respond promptly to phone calls and emails, providing patient guidance, appointment support, service information, and follow-up.
• Support outreach activities, health fairs, department meetings, general office tasks, filing, coding, photocopying, invoice review, and related administrative duties.
