R1 RCM Inc. in Appleton, WI is seeking a Patient Registration Representative to be the first contact for patients, ensuring fast, compassionate, and accurate access to care.

This is more than registration — it’s a frontline healthcare customer service role where you directly impact patient experience, hospital operations, and revenue cycle success. You’ll work across multiple computer systems to register patients, answer phones, collect demographics and co-pays, and help families navigate

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Exceptional customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
• Experience with patient access, insurance verification, or front desk is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass background check, drug test and meet vaccination requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and assist patients and families with check-in across multiple computer systems.
• Answer phones and collect accurate patient information quickly.
• Support timely access to care by minimizing registration delays and clarifying questions.
• Navigate insurance plans, enter demographics, collect co-pays, and provide cost estimates.
• Collaborate with nurses and care teams to ensure smooth patient flow.
