Responsibilities

• Obtain demographic, billing, and insurance information and enter into registration and billing systems.
• Obtain pre-certification and authorizations as needed.
• Prepare consent forms and privacy notices and obtain signatures for treatment and financial obligations.
• Collect deposits, co-pays, and patient payments and document in billing systems.
• Prepare patient armband and balance daily receipts as required.
• Perform medical necessity checks and complete Advanced Beneficiary Notice as needed.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel patients per hospital workflows.
• Check order completeness and validate against scheduled services.
