Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of health care financial or cash handling or high-volume customer service.
• Two years of keyboarding and multi-application data input in Windows.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Registration: Greets and registers patients for clinic, hospital inpatient, ambulatory or emergency services, verifies demographics and insurance per standards.
• Revenue Collection: Collects cost-shares and payments, processes deposits, and ensures billing accuracy per policies.
• Appointing & Messaging: Takes messages and may schedule appointments per guidelines.
• Regulatory/Organizational Compliance: Obtains signatures, handles consent forms, and adheres to payer requirements.
• General Services: Maintains forms/supplies and assists patients with directions and referrals.
