Responsibilities

• Creates initial electronic health records as foundation for patient record.
• Checks in and registers patients; verifies demographics and insurance; collects co-pays.
• Discusses financial obligations with patients and refers to Financial Advocates as needed.
• Ensures HIPAA compliance and patient information confidentiality.
• Schedules appointments and provides test prep and arrival instructions.
