Job summary

AAH Omro Family Medicine is seeking a part-time front desk/registrar to support patient registration and billing processes. The position involves creating initial electronic health records, verifying demographics and insurance, collecting co-pays, and guiding patients through the portal.

You will handle scheduling, patient communications, HIPAA compliance, and coordination with financial advocates while delivering friendly service in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Responsibilities

• Create the initial electronic health record that serves as the foundation of the patient medical record.
• Check in and registers patients; collect demographics and insurance information; discuss co-pays.
• Understand and discuss financial information with patients and refer to Financial Advocates.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and protect patient privacy.
• Greet patients, answer calls, and support scheduling and patient portal usage.
