Job summary

The Surgical Clinic is a premier multi-specialty surgical practice in Middle Tennessee. We are seeking a Registration Coordinator to support medical office operations, including check-in, check-out, collecting patient data, and scheduling internal appointments.

You will handle phone inquiries, enter information into EMR/PM systems, collect co-pays, and ensure HIPAA compliance. Occasional travel to other clinics is required to support coverage.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED, 2 years of professional office experience required.
• Proficiency with Windows, MS Office, and e-mail preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones and greet patients professionally.
• Conduct patient check-in/out and collect demographic/insurance information.
• Enter data into PM/EMR and manage documents.
• Collect co-pays/payments and handle end-of-day deposits.
• Schedule internal appointments and coordinate with clinics.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Travel to other clinics as needed.
