BJC HealthCare is seeking a Patient Access Representative at the Center for Advanced Medicine in South County. The role focuses on patient entry into facilities, accurate demographic collection, insurance verification, and at‑point‑of‑service payments.

Strong client interaction and detail orientation help maximize reimbursements and minimize denials. Responsibilities include hospital registration, scheduling, document retrieval, and adherence to HIPAA, MSP, and patient rights standards.

• Ability to communicate professionally with patients, families and co-workers in person, over the computer or by phone.
• Ability to verify insurance information, schedule appointments, and collect payments accurately.
• Knowledge of HIPAA Privacy Standards, Medicare guidelines and patient rights and responsibilities.
• Safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe work practices.
