Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-3 years customer service experience.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Fluent in Spanish preferred.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and families in person or on the telephone.
• Obtains demographic, payer, financial and medical information to schedule or register patients.
• Obtains authorization, referrals, and collects payments as required.
• Verifies third party payer information and secures necessary authorizations.
• Documents all activity in the patient registration system and QA notes.
• Schedules physician or hospital services and confirms appointments two days prior.
