Nbhh is hiring a Patient Access Representative to handle admission registrations, collect signatures, and verify insurance in a fast-paced healthcare setting. You will support multiple departments by managing messages, mail, and basic accounting tasks.

The role emphasizes accuracy, organizational skills, and the ability to learn EMR systems while providing courteous service to patients and families in person and by phone.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office; ability to learn EMR systems.
• Must demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Complete admission registration accurately for all patient types.
• Obtain required signatures on consents and forms for Medicare and provide necessary handouts.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits through registration software.
• Answer phones, take messages, sort mail, post charges and receipts; support other duties as assigned.
• Run daily Census, Registration and AR reports for the Patient Access Supervisor.
