North Country Healthcare is seeking a front desk professional for the Patient Access Department. You will collect demographic info, verify insurance, and handle co-pay collection while ensuring patient privacy and exceptional service.

Responsibilities include data entry into EMR, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring accurate records for visits and registrations across the health system.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in hospital or health care registration preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance preferred.
• Ability to prioritize workload and stay organized.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and check in/out patients; primary receptionist duties.
• Verify and enter demographic and insurance information.
• Review orders for accuracy; handle ED tracking as needed.
• Use AccuReg to verify insurance and registration.
• Collect co-pays and payments per EMTALA; reconcile cash drawer.
• Answer department calls and coordinate communications.
• Attach referrals and documents to appointments.
• Scan insurance cards and relevant documents.
