Intuitive Health in partnership with MUSC Health seeks a Patient Access Advocate for a Full Time Day shift (7a-7p) with weekend rotations. You will greet patients, handle registrations, verify demographics and insurance, collect payments, and document information in an electronic system.

Qualifications

• Minimum typing speed of 50 wpm.
• Minimum 6 months healthcare setting or 1 year customer service.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; basic insurance terminology.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and check them in/out.
• Register patient information and verify demographics.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect copayments.
• Provide high level of customer service at registration and by phone.
• Maintain clean front desk and assist with clerical duties.
• Follow HIPAA policies and company procedures.
