Job summary

UCI Health in Irvine, CA, seeks a friendly, patient-focused front desk specialist to join our ambulatory clinics. You will serve as the first point of contact, perform clerical and reception duties, enter patient data into the registration system and verify insurance coverage.

You will schedule, confirm, and cancel appointments, work flexible hours including weekends as needed, and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced healthcare

• Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor.
• Experience with office equipment and multi-line telephone systems.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
