Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Patient Registration Representative in Grass Valley, CA to ensure a positive patient experience during the registration process. You will identify patients, collect demographics, verify insurance, determine financial liability, and explain hospital policies and patient rights to families.

Responsibilities include accurate data entry into the ADT system, preventing duplicate medical record numbers, and ensuring documentation meets CMS and hospital requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in hospital Patient Registration, physician office, or related revenue cycle roles.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of registration requirements for multiple hospital areas.
• Accurately enters demographic information into the ADT system and verifies patient identity to avoid duplicates.
• Ensures compliance with CMS billing requirements and hospital policies.
• Reviews assigned accounts to ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
