Job summary

Englewood Health is seeking a Registration Clerk to interview patients or representatives to collect personal, demographic, financial and insurance information, and to perform computer data entry for patient registration. You will maintain privacy and deliver professional customer service to patients, visitors, physicians and staff in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include registering patients in the system, verifying IDs and insurance documents, collecting deposits or payments, and

Qualifications

• Interviews patients and/or representatives to collect personal, demographic, and financial information.
• Verifies and scans documents while maintaining privacy.
• Delivers professional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Register patients in the computer system with complete records.
• Verify and copy IDs and insurance documents into imaging system.
• Provide professional customer service to patients, visitors and staff.
• Collect deposits/payments and coordinate with Credit or Cashier.
• Maintain organized registration and support QA initiatives.

Education

HS Diploma or equivalent

One or more years of registration or related clerical/health care experience
