Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; 2-year degree preferred.
• Healthcare experience and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle and insurance verification.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and register patients into applicable software systems with accuracy to data collection.
• Verify referrals and pre-authorizations for applicable services.
• Conduct registration interviews before initial visits and collect patient data.
• Perform point of service collections including co-pays and co-insurances; issue receipts.
• Operate multi-line phone system and route inquiries professionally.
