Responsibilities

• Registers patients and performs all registration-related tasks, including consents and financial paperwork
• Communicates with patients to assist access to care and answer inquiries promptly
• Resolves non-clinical questions with excellent customer service on the phone or in person
• Performs documentation audits for medical necessity and payor requirements using EMR systems
• Schedules appointments and sends reminders, results, and recall letters when in a procedure-based department
• Maintains and scans medical records and manages front desk correspondence and inventory
• Attends staff meetings and ensures CMS and HIPAA compliance
