The position supports multiple departments, may relocate within locations as needed, and requires strong computer skills, typing, and excellent interpersonal communication.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Proven track record of excellent customer service.
• Able to navigate computer systems (EPIC/registration systems).
• Good typing and data entry skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients and/or family to obtain accurate financial and demographic information.
• Verifies patient insurance through online eligibility to minimize denials.
• For outpatient exams, estimates charges to determine patient liability.
• Collects amounts due from patients after determining liability.
• Reads notices, memos and emails and attends department meetings.
