Job summary

Kuresmart seeks a Front Desk Representative to ensure smooth flow of patient information across care continuum. You will collect insurance demographics, register patients, and manage financial transactions within the EMR system.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, handling inquiries, scheduling, and maintaining accurate records while upholding HIPAA and service excellence standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in Internet and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent written and oral communication, including customer service.
• Ability to work with doctors, clinical staff, co-workers and the public.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Accurate money collection and handling.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Flexible schedule.
• Able to stay calm under stressful health-related situations.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented approach.
• Knowledge of healthcare field and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient check-in/check-out and registration via EMR.
• Collect demographic, Insurance and Financial information; enter into EMR.
• Assist patients with Phreesia tablets and forms.
• Collect co-pays, co-insurances, deductibles; reconcile money daily.
• Schedule follow-up appointments per insurance guidelines.
• Answer phone inquiries and route to appropriate personnel.
• Copy, barcode, and scan medical records as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient waiting area.
• Participate in trainings and in-services.
• Follow HIPAA rules and maintain confidentiality.
