Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with clinic environment; ability to perform calculations; extensive use of computer information system.
• Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with patients, visitors, medical staff and hospital personnel.
• Ability to work with detailed information and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to discuss patients' financial responsibilities and connect with Customer Service Center at Corporate Business Office.
• Ability to work in a team and maintain yearly competencies; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow standard operating procedures for all patient registration activities including patient reception, face-to-face check in and check out, preregistration, insurance verification, cash collections, chart reconciliation and patient discharge.
• Actively contribute to a culture of service excellence across all customer groups.
