Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Accurately identifies patient in EMR system and collects demographic and financial information.
• Provides exceptional customer service to patients, families, visitors and OhioHealth physicians and staff.
• Performs registration functions across multiple access points and uses computer systems to enter and retrieve information.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and secures/records authorizations as needed.
• Explains billing procedures, hospital policies and provides appropriate literature to patients.
