Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare environment with patient registration, check-in/out, scheduling, or front desk duties.
• Ability to verify medical insurance and collect point-of-service payments.
• Detail-oriented with accurate data entry and records maintenance.
• Strong customer service mindset and empathetic communication with patients.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals professionally and service‑mindedly.
• Register patients by entering demographic, insurance, and guarantor data into the EMR.
• Verify insurance coverage and collect copays, deductibles, and POS payments.
• Complete check-in/check-out processes accurately and efficiently.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments as needed.
• Act as liaison between patients, providers, staff, and the community for a positive experience.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while addressing questions with empathy.
• Support front office operations to ensure smooth patient flow and experience.
