Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or specialized training in medical administration preferred.
• 1–3 years of clerical or reception experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to manage stressful situations, maintain composure, and adhere to HIPAA confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and visitors promptly and courteously.
• Answer and direct phone calls.
• Register patients and verify/update demographic and insurance information.
• Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.
• Collect patient payments and explain financial policies.
• Provide excellent customer service with accurate patient data (target 97%).
• De-escalate concerns and provide patient support.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Participate in safety programs and meetings.
• Perform general office duties, including document creation and correspondence.
