Job summary

Community Health Network seeks an Associate Patient Access Representative to be the first contact for visitors, handling patient registration and financial clearance.

This role includes check-ins, scheduling, payment collection, insurance verification, and compliance management to ensure smooth workflows and proper readiness for visits.

You will use EPIC work queues to pre-register patients, verify CMS eligibility, collect necessary information, and ensure the electronic health record is complete.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in healthcare office setting and/or strong customer service background preferred
• Proficient in registrations (inpatient, outpatient, ED) and handling admissions/discharges/transfers

Responsibilities

• Handle front-office and back-office functions for patients
• Perform check-ins, scheduling, and payment collection
• Verify insurance and CMS coverage information
• Ensure compliance and prepare patients administratively and financially for visits
• Enter patient demographics and financial information accurately
• Verify completeness of the electronic health record (EHR) and update as needed
