Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of customer service experience; hospital registration experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients, physicians, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record accurate demographic and insurance information.
• Explain consent forms and obtain signatures from patients.
• Post and receipts patient payments; balance cash drawer daily.
• Verify insurance and determine patient out-of-pocket costs.
• Ensure HIPAA and EMTALA compliance in all interactions.
• Provide excellent customer service and professional communication.
