Job summary

Conifer Health Solutions seeks a Patient Access professional to support registration, scheduling, and financial clearance within a hospital setting. You will collect complete patient demographics, secure required consent and directives, and explain patient financial responsibilities at the point of service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year in a customer service role preferred.
• 0–1 year administrative experience in medical facility, health insurance, or related area preferred.
• Some college coursework is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and completing full patient registration at date of service while explaining and securing required legal forms.
• Educates patients about financial liabilities and performs compliant liability collection before/during/after service.
• Verify insurance, benefits, coverage & eligibility and obtain necessary authorizations; assist with scheduling and coordinating post-discharge care.
