Job summary

Conifer Health is seeking a Patient Access representative to support scheduling, registration, pre-admission and admission activities at Hi-Desert Medical Center. You will collect accurate patient demographics and apply compliant patient liability collection techniques.

The role requires greeting patients, explaining hospital forms, verifying insurance and benefits, and coordinating with care teams to support post-discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 0–1 year in a customer service role required.
• 0–1 year administrative experience in medical facility preferred.
• Some college coursework is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and complete full patient registration at the date of service, explain and secure hospital forms.
• Educate patients about financial liabilities and secure payments per policies.
• Verify insurance and benefits, obtain authorizations, and support post-discharge care coordination.
