Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients and families to address questions and provide courteous, timely assistance.
• Regulates schedules based on procedure requirements, physician availability, and staffing needs.
• Schedules patient procedures and pre-registers with accurate demographic information.
• Verifies insurance eligibility using designated applications and secures authorizations.
• Collects and records patient financial responsibility estimates as applicable.
• Communicates operative reports daily to appropriate physician offices.
• Compiles and organizes registration documentation to ensure completion of records.
• Collects patient co-pays or deductibles when applicable and informs patients of obligations.
• Assists patients with understanding insurance requirements and questions.
