Miami Neuroscience Institute Baptist Health South Florida is seeking a clerical/administrative associate to greet patients, collect demographics and payments, and register patients for services. The role involves verifying payer information, obtaining authorizations, and assisting families with navigating the facility.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, at least one year of customer service, and strong English communication skills; Spanish language ability is highly preferred.

Formación

• 1 year of customer service experience.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Fluent in Spanish strongly preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Able to accurately enter and interpret data.
• Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Responsabilidades

• Greets patients and families in person or on the telephone.
• Obtains demographic, third party payer, financial information, and identification to schedule or register the patient for services.
• Obtains authorization and collects payments when required.
• Verifies third party payer information via the web or telephone.
• Documents all activities in the patient records system and notes file.
• Directs families to appropriate locations in the facility.
