Responsibilities

• Secures insurance authorization for outpatient and diagnostic testing.
• Schedules appointments and verifies medical appointments.
• Coordinates collection and submittal of insurance information.
• Escalates authorization issues and coordinates peer-to-peer review.
• Coordinates with clinical team and communicates managed care requests.
• Documents insurance notes and authorizations.
• Answers calls, routes messages, and relays messages to staff.
• Follow-ups with patients for return visits, missed appointments, and cancellations.
