The PromptCare Companies is seeking an experienced Patient Access Coordinator to join our team in New Jersey. The role focuses on identifying incomplete prescriptions, educating physician offices, and following up on missing documentation to ensure smooth patient admissions.

Responsibilities include providing updates to MDOs, guiding workflow, and coordinating with pharmacists on clinical questions. A strong background in insurance, benefits, and customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with insurance companies and healthcare professionals is preferred.
• Experience with medical and pharmacy benefits.
• Experience with specialty pharmacy patient admissions and customer service in a referral source-based setting is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide status updates and workflow guidance to MDOs and new patients.
• Support coverage navigation and access processes.
• Clarify required documentation with MDOs.
• Provide escalation to pharmacists for clinical questions.
• Review initial patient referral admission data and documents.
• Handle outbound and inbound calls from providers and new patients regarding prescriptions and updates.
