Job summary

PromptCare, Inc. in New Providence, NJ is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator to identify incomplete prescriptions, notify physician offices, and educate on missing documentation.

This full-time role runs Monday through Friday and supports workflow processes for new patients. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, familiarity with pharmacy and medical benefits, and strong MS Office and CPR+ skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience with insurance processes and healthcare professionals preferred.
• Familiarity with medical and pharmacy benefits helpful.
• Experience with specialty pharmacy admissions and customer service preferred.
• Strong PC skills, especially MS Office.
• Experience with CPR+ order processing system preferred (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Provide status updates and workflow guidance to MDOs and new patients.
• Support coverage navigation and access processes.
• Clarify required documentation with MDOs.
• Coordinate with pharmacists on clinical questions.
• Review initial patient referral admission data and documents.
• Handle outbound and inbound calls from providers and new patients regarding prescriptions and updates.
• Facilitate warm transfers to manufacturer HUBs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
