Job summary

The PromptCare Companies is seeking an experienced Patient Access Coordinator to join our team. You will identify incomplete prescriptions, educate physician offices, and follow up on missing documentation to ensure timely patient access.

Role requires strong PC skills, familiarity with insurance processes, and the ability to communicate with providers and patients. Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting insurance processes and healthcare professionals
• Understanding medical and pharmacy benefits
• Experience with specialty pharmacy patient admissions preferred
• Strong PC skills including MS Office

Responsibilities

• Provide status updates and workflow guidance to physicians and new patients
• Support coverage navigation and access processes
• Clarify required documentation with providers and patients
• Coordinate with pharmacists on clinical questions
• Review initial patient referral admission data and documents
• Handle inbound/outbound calls regarding prescriptions and updates
• Facilitate warm transfers to manufacturer HUBs
• Perform other duties as assigned
