Job summary

Su Clinica Familiar seeks a detail-oriented medical records clerk to maintain patient records across the clinic system. You will ensure secure storage, timely access for clinicians, and adherence to privacy rules.

Responsibilities include processing record requests, supporting chart audits, and assisting with referrals and lab results while upholding PCMH standards and customer service excellence in a bilingual setting.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED and relevant medical office training or experience.
• Experience with medical records, front desk duties or patient registrations preferred.
• Ability to manage confidential information and comply with HIPAA and PCMH guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize patient records securely and accessibly.
• Answer phones promptly, manage record requests, and support continuity of care.
• Assist with chart audits, reports, and timely referrals or lab results.
• Ensure privacy and security controls for medical records and EMR entries.
• Participate in required trainings and maintain professional conduct.
