Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma; Medical Records/HIM experience required.
• Completion of a Medical Coding course; CPC certification upon completion.
• Ability to code with ICD-10-CM and DSM-V; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage, organize, and maintain patient health records with confidentiality.
• Retrieve medical records for providers, patients, external sources, and staff.
• Ensure records comply with HIPAA and federal regulations; close records with forms.
