Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Quality Improvement Coordinator to assist management in overseeing departmental operations, mentoring staff, and ensuring accurate registration and data integrity. You will monitor reports, address escalated issues, and support education and scheduling to maximize efficiency and service quality.

In this role, you will collaborate across departments, analyze processes, promote best practices, and help maintain safe, patient-centered care within budget

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years hospital/medical business office experience preferred.
• Strong multitasking and typing skills; supervisory/leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee departmental operations and mentoring of staff.
• Ensure accurate registration, data integrity, and reporting accuracy.
• Monitor and correct reports; address escalated issues and train staff.
• Schedule staff and coordinate education/training sessions as needed.
• Promote and implement process improvements to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Maintain knowledge of department processes and systems; participate in meetings.
• Communicate effectively with staff at all levels and with other departments to resolve issues.
• Support HR processes including coaching and counseling as needed; ensure policy adherence.
