Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a quality improvement coordinator to oversee clinic operations and support staff training. You will monitor data integrity, resolve scheduling and billing issues, and ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.

The role requires a background in medical assisting or vocational nursing, EMR proficiency, and strong communication with patients and teams. Occasional evenings or weekends may be required to support patient care needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; graduate of a Medical Assistant program or LVN program is preferred.
• Certification by AMT, AAMA, NHA or NRCMA within 12 months of hire is required.
• Current Texas LVN license or equivalent and BLS/CPR certification are required or to be obtained within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Act as on-site clinical coordinator guiding the care team and managing clinic workflow.
• Resolve scheduling, insurance, and patient satisfaction issues; escalate when needed.
• Monitor data integrity across reports and support process improvements.
• Serve as a resource for EMR training and department education.
• Cross-train to support patient access tasks and direct patient care within certification scope.
