Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year in a Customer Service role.
• 0–1 year administrative experience in medical facility preferred.
• Some college coursework is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients following Conifer Standards of Care and complete full patient registration at date of service.
• Explain and secure hospital and patient forms (Advance Directives, Consent, EMTALA, etc.).
• Scan Protected Health Information and prepare patient information packets for upcoming services.
• Assist scheduling diagnostic procedures and provide appointment instructions.
• Educate patients on financial liabilities and perform compliant patient liability collection.
• Verify insurance, benefits, coverage, and obtain authorizations for services; coordinate post-discharge care if needed.
